The Federal Government announced further restrictions regarding Victorian business closures recently – including the massage therapy industry. Unfortunately as a result, we are unable to see clients in the clinic at this time.
We are offering free 15 minute online consultations to discuss any physical symptoms such as neck pain, back pain, headaches, leg cramps, hip/leg pain. We can provide advice and home exercises and stretches to assist while we are unable to see clients in the clinic.

We offer many types of massage therapy. Choosing a style of massage can be difficult for clients that haven’t had massage before. Here is a list of the most popular types of massage (including some that may be new to you).
Swedish Massage Therapy
Swedish massage is the most well known type of massage. Using oil, massage therapists will use broad general strokes. There are five basic strokes in Swedish massage therapy:
- petrissage (rolling, kneading or lifting)
- effleurage (smooth and long strokes)
- friction (small circular movements),
- tapotement (cupping or drumming)
- vibration (vigorous shaking movements).
Swedish massage is often also referred to as relaxation massage, it can be very usefull if you are stress or recovering from an injury.
Hot Stone Massage
As the name suggests, hot stone massage uses heat stones. The therapist uses heated, smooth stones to treat specific points and tight muscles. The therapist holds the warm stones while giving the massage.
The heat from the stones is relaxing and can easy the pain of treatment to allow the therapist to work more deeply without pain
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage is a more therapeutic form of massage. Deep tissue targets knots and specific problem areas. The massager therapist will addresses tight or painful areas and can address repetitive strain injuries, postural problems and injuries
Pregnancy massage is design specifically for expectant mother’s bodies. Prenatal massage is a safe, drug-free way to provide relief from the aches and pains associated with pregnancy.
